Willowpaw looked up and saw the beautiful place. "Wow!" This was the first time she had ever been to ANY gathering!
Falconclan:
Mistleaf tryed to be calm, but inside she was squealing with excitement. She wanted to try to make friends with some of the cats. Thats what the others were doing. She settled comfortably next to Ripplestep.
Willowlily looked around, and sat beside her sisters, Mistleaf had never been to a gathering, so she might need some help. She thought.
Brookfur looked around happily, sitting next to Willowlily.
I know :P SORRY I thought that you would post the same thing as Volcanoclan and Hawkclan, They said whoever was active could go but since I already commented it, just ignore Willowlily and Brookfur and I won't comment with them.
Brookstar bowed her head at Magmastar. "Welcome," she said quietly. "I shall begin!" She said more loudly. "Our clan is faring well, and we have many warriors and apprentices. The prey is running well too. Also, Moonstar's brother, Sunshadow, has joined our clan after many moons of being a rogue. However, though his sister is in HawkClan he has decided to stay in FalconClan." She dipped her head to Moonstar. "I don't think there's anything else to announce for FalconClan."
Blackwood watched the FalconClan leader scornfully, as Ivoryfire's tail twitched at their late arrival.
Magmastar dipped his head at the other leader. "Greetings," he said. Moonstar nodded slightly. "I will go next," she said. "HawkClan has several new cats, and four new kits as well. Prey is running well."
Brookstar flicked her tail, and looked to Fernstar. "Your turn, Fernstar," she told the leader, shuffling her paws on the CrescentRock.
Ivypaw smiled slightly at the thought of her new friend Nightkit. Though he was violent and quick with his claws, the kit was a talented fighter and would be a great warrior, if he was loyal and didn't let anything weaken him, like a belief in dead cats. Ivypaw would make sure that he didn't fall for the silly religion these cats believed in. "What're you thinking about?" Onyxpaw flicked Ivypaw's shoulder. "Nothing." "Yeah, right," Her brother snorted, and Ivypaw narrowed her eyes, about to say something. However, there was a hiss and glare from behind. The two apprentices turned around to see an annoyed Stormsky. "Be quiet!" She snapped, and the siblings quickly shut up and looked up at Moonstar.
Fernstar nodded to Brookstar and Stepped forward on the rock. "Our clan is doing well. We have three new cats, Wattleglimmer, Flyingspirit, and her sister, Earthpaw, now being mentored by Our Head Warrior, Bramblefall. Also, our queen, Moonecho, has had two kits and named them Duskkit and Ebonykit. Our prey is very plentiful, too. That is all." Fernstar stepped back.
Mistleaf looked at Bramblefall in admiration. She wanted to mentor an apprentice! Teach them all she knew about herbs, and Starclan.
(He isn't. I need to fix that. Thanks for reminding me.)
Brookstar nodded. "Then I believe this Gathering is over. Are there any cats who want to say anything else, or raise any points?"
A voice rose up from the crowd. Darkflame. "Brookstar, in leaf-bare, we hunted a different type of prey. I think we should tell the rest of the clans to do that also, because we stayed healthy and full in the cold. We all live on the same mountain range, with the same hardships, don't we?" The leader of FalconClan contemplated the idea, her eyes narrowed. Finally, she nodded. "Alright." "In FalconClan, we hunted birds of prey." It was simple enough to say.
Brookstar shook her head. "It's harder than you think. The eagles, the hawks- they can easily take an apprentice as prey. Only warriors and skilled apprentices should be hunting these dangerous creatures." A wave of murmurs rose in the crowd. Agreement, suspicion, and doubt were all voiced in the gathering of cats.
Fernstar widened her eyes slightly at the thought before calming herself. "We are ready to train. Leafbare is in two seasons, we will get ready and study the way of these birds so we can perhaps hunt them."
Brookstar nodded her head firmly. "Alright. Our clan is already equipped with the knowledge of hunting these predators. It took us a while, and your cats must be prepared for dangerous training, but I can assure you that if you manage to catch one, a single grown eagle could easily feed four cats." She paused, as if mentally debating whether to give away so much information, but continued. "It will be a good idea to use small forest prey, such as mice, to bait the hunting birds to come down close enough for you to catch them."
Ripplestep padded up with Rainfall by her side.
